A Bit About Me
My name is Jocelyn and I live in Kernersville NC with my husband and two children. I was born in Massachusetts and my family vacationed in Florida every year. We went to Disney numerous times, more than I can count! Fast forward to adulthood, my trips slowed until we decided to take our kids (ages 20 months and 3 years) in March 2016. I can tell you from experience, it is completely different experiencing the magic of Disney through your child’s eyes! It was an amazing trip - so much so - we were back that December and the following April!! We have continued coming back to our ‘happy place’ regularly!
It is so hard to choose my favorite park because they all have something different and exciting to offer. But, I can honestly say that the feelings I get walking down Main Street towards Cinderella’s Castle are unlike any other! It is a magical place - I get goosebumps and even a little teary-eyed!! Magic Kingdom always makes me feel like I’m back ‘home!’
My favorite ride is a tie between the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Magic Kingdom and the Slinky Dog Dash at Hollywood Studios! They are two of the smoothest roller coasters that are perfectly themed!!
Aside from all the rides, my next favorite activity is eating! On each trip, we try new restaurants because there are so many options available!! We do have our staples, though, the must-do restaurants every trip! Here are my family's top picks (Impossible to choose just one!!): Chefs de France in Epcot (the BEST French onion soup and desserts!), California Grill at the Contemporary Resort (the food, atmosphere, and views- if you time it right, it’s the perfect place to watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom), Cinderella’s Royal table INSIDE the castle at Magic Kingdom (every prince and princesses dream!), and Tusker House (yummy food and our favorite characters)!!
My favorite vacation to date was Thanksgiving 2019. Our dance studio went and my daughter earned her performing arts ears dancing at Disney Springs. We spent time in every park and celebrated the holiday with Turkey and all the fixings at Garden Grill in Epcot and closed out our trip at the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party (highly recommended splurge if you can do it)!!
I’m so excited to share my love of Disney with you and help you create magical vacations and memories!!
